“A famous explorer was once said, that there’s extraordinary in what you do, not who you are”
My name is Marquïse “Marri” Walker, I’m a young actress striving to make a mark in the acting industry. I’ve always had a passion for acting, it was something symbolic to me in a psychological way. I started acting when I was in high school theater. I struggled a lot with it, because of my lack confidence and knowledge of acting. So I decided to go an acting and work on myself, and never give up acting. But after attending Academy of Art University, I realized that my heart is in film/television. I’ve worked hard in my camera scenes. But realizing she needed to improve my theater resume, I started auditioning for in school and outside school. I’ve premiered in my college productions “The Vagina Monologues”, “For Colored-Girls Who have considered suicide”, “When RomCom Goes Bad”. Also I performed in my first outside play production, “Legal-Tender Loving Care”. I want my acting to give hope, that anybody can achieve their dreams. Not matter the obstacle |
